Distv-D2h set top box interchange trick revealed

Once you re-align your dish do the following in your Set-top box.
Step 2 will defer in between D-4005, D-6005, AF-7012S and NXT series set-top boxes
Step 2 for D-4005 and D-6005 Set-top boxes
1. Press and hold the “Menu” Key in your remote, while your STB is on a channel (you will get “Signal not found” error, ignore it)
2 .You will be re-directed to Installation Menu
3. In installation menu go to Home Frequency and press 9523 in your remote while home transponder is selected
4. Then you will be re-directed to transponder edit option from there replace the transponder details as follows
5. Frequency : From 12688 replace it with 11609
Symbol Rate : From 27500 replace it with 43978
Polarization : Leave it as it is (Vertical)
FEC Inner : From Auto to 2/3
6. Press “Ok” key in your remote
7. If you’re getting the signal in your home transponder, then click the “Yellow” Key in your remote. Set-top box will prompt for software upgrade, then click the “start” for software upgrade (Do not turn off the Set-top box when software upgrade in process)
In-case if the Software upgrade not started automatically after pressing the “Yellow” Key then do the following
i. Switch off your Set-top Box
ii. Remove the power adopter from the power outlet
iii. Press and hold the “Power” Key in your Set-top Box, while holding the power key attach the power adopter to power outlet and wait till the indicator bulb turns to green and then release the power key, this will prompt the set-top box for software upgrade and then click “Start” in window panel as prompted.
8. Once Set-top box is booted goto MENU >> SETTINGS >> CHANNEL SEARCH, and click “OK” key in your remote, once channel search is completed Press the “OK” key in your remote and save it

Step 2 for NXT Series Set-top boxes

1. Switch off the Set-top box and remove the power adopter from the power outlet
2. Press and hold the “Power” Key in your Set-top Box, while holding the power key attach the power adopter to power outlet and wait till the indicator bulb turns to green and then release the power key, this will prompt the set-top box for software upgrade. in the software upgrade window replace the following 
3. Frequency : From 12688 replace it with 11609
Symbol Rate : From 27500 replace it with 43978
Polarization : Leave it as it is (Vertical) and then click the “Start” key in your window panel, this will upgrade the Set-top box software.
4. Once Set-top box software upgraded and box is booted go to MENU >> MY DISHTV
5. Press and hold the “Menu” key in your remote until it is prompt for Advance settings
6. In advance Settings replace the following details as follows
Frequency : From 12688 replace it with 11609
Symbol Rate : From 27500 replace it with 43978
Polarization : Leave it as it is (Vertical)
7. Then Press “OK” Key in your remote to scan for channels, once scan completed, click the “Back” key in your remote to save it
